What's In
a Name?
We take our name from the small but storied Athene noctua, the "Little Owl." Closely associated with the goddess of strategy, wisdom, warfare, and skilled labor, the noctua was said to protect Athena’s blind spot, helping her appreciate every angle of a situation.
